Meet Josh.
Josh is a native to WNC. He grew up in the beautiful, lush green valley of Mills River. The elegance and breath-taking views of the mountains attributed to his dream of becoming a mobile physical therapy clinic (as well as the name).
Before Josh achieved his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he spent his time as a Physical Therapy Assistant. It was during this time Josh began to notice flaws in the realm of PT, and it became his life goal to be a change. After his decision to help Physical Therapy be better; he started the road to become one.
Josh attended South College for his Associates and Bachelors degree. While deciding which school to continue his doctorate, he aspired for greatness. A few short months and several interviews later…he secured a position at the University of St. Augustine. The University of St. Augustine is unique in itself, earning the honor of establishing manual therapy. It is and will always be an amazing right of passage for every student who attends.
Appalachian Movement Specialists embodies the ideal of true healthcare. We do not believe in corporation style therapy. We believe in YOU. In originating his own clinic, Josh has ensured the most important asset for his patients: time.
Time gives way to thought, which leads to appropriate processing for evaluations. Proper evaluations lead to pristine care plans. All for the betterment of you.
